about:blank is an initiative intended for the development of young artists, designers, and other disciplines in the visual arts, by offering a one year mentor program. The program contains monthly talks and activities designed to further one’s career in the creative industry. Over the course of the program, the exchange of information focuses on the process of the artist, the advancement of their professional pursuits, their ambitions and social positioning, and critical reflection on their work.

The online platform supports these same core teachings, but in the form of an open community intended to facilitate the proliferation of experience and skill among a greater group of creative individuals. Short documentaries, interviews with the mentors and artists, and other resources will be made available there.
